Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
a)  Located along the exterior front entryway area of the structure
employees were observed
exposed to the hazards associated with fall potentials in excess of 24'
from a Marklift Model
CH80C self-propelled boom-supported elevating work platform while
performing wall and steel
cleaning.
Among other methods feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard, are
but not limited to:
1)  Assure personal fall protection device(s) are utilized, appropriately
sized, and buckles are
fully closed with belt and leg strap ends in their keepers.
2)  Stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and not climb on the edge of
the basket.
3)  Do not exceed the rated load capacity of the aerial lift.
4)  Do not exceed the rated maximum number of personnel allowed on the
platform.
