Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were not trained or instructed in the hazards involved in riding on the moving conveyor belt on the boiler conveyor. Among other methods, one feas- able and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to instruct employees in the hazards and train them to never ride on a moving conveyor: Production Area - Employees were not instructed or trained not to ride the moving conveyor belt on the boiler conveyor.
