Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were
free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to
serious fall hazards while performing work at excessive heights without
the use work platforms:
a) Power building, level 3:  For the employees installing ductwork while
working at heights of 12 feet, 2 feet, 2 inches and 16 feet 8 inches.
Among other methods, ne feasible and acceptable abatement methods to
correct his hazard is to provide employees with scaffolding which meets
the requirements of 29 CFS 1926.451.
