Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet from prohibited riding of the
forks on a Gradall Lull fork truck:
a)  Construction Worksite - Employee observed riding the
forks of a Gradall Lull, Model #534B, Serial number unknown,
thereby exposing employee to a fall hazard of 10 feet to
ground level below, on or about June 9, 1992.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method
to correct this hazard is providing access by utilizing scafolds,
ladder and/or work platform to gain access to scaffold.
