Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were
free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to:
(a) Fall hazards of approximately 17' above the ground level and 3 1/2'
above the second floor level while standing/working on the outside frame
wall at the west corner of the building.
Methods feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard are, but not
limited
to, the use of ladders, scaffolds, catch platforms, temporary floors,
scissor lifts, rotating and articulating lifts, static lines and/or safety
belts/body harnesses.
