Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that had caused or could have caused death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer had not marked the intersections of a roadway as required in the "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways", that were maintained on their property and used by employees and the public to indicate which traffic has the right of way and which traffic should stop or yield. Signs such as "STOP", "YIELD", or "Cross traffic does not stop" were not used at: a) The first intersection east of 1600E and 450N b) The second intersection east and south of 1600E and 450N
