Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: Throughout the establishment, there was, as the result of repairs being performed to the roof and ceiling of the guiding, the following: Falling and/or about to fall on the employees, pieces of roofing materials, such as lumber, galvanize, nails, fiber glass paddings, melted tar and other debris. This condition exposed the emplo- yees to being hurt from falling objects resulting in per- manent disability.
