Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by debris from collapse of brick wall(s): a)Plant building #7 - Employees walked and worked near a brick wall which showed stress cracks and had part of the bottom knocked out, on or about 2/23/95. Some feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard would include repairing the damage to the wall and installing a barricade to prevent vehicles and equipment from hitting the wall.
