Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a.ON THE JOBSITE, DRIVEWAY, LOT 46, THUNDERHEAD LANE, DOUBLE TREE TRACT, DEWITT, NY.: On 05/09/94 employee was permitted to operate a cord connected power drive, rigid 200, pipe thread machine without the use of a momentary contact device to control power input to the machine as required by ANSI B208.1-1982, Safety Requirements for Pipe Tools, Cord Connected, Section 4.4.
