WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF A DANGEROUS SNAG. THE SNAG
WAS NOT REMOVED PRIOR TO FALLING TREES WITHIN THE
STRIP AS REQUIRED BY THE IDAHO MINIMUM SAFETY STANDARDS
AND PRACTICES FOR LOGGING, CHAPTER "H", STANDARD 18,
SECTION 1(H).
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO REMOVE DANGEROUS SNAGS PRIOR TO LOGGING A
STRIP.
