who were picking construction/demolition material from
a moving conveyor belt were exposed to being caught by
the moving conveyor belt.  The conveyor was not provided
with an emergency stopping device to prevent employees
from being pulled into in-running nip points between the
moving conveyor belt and belt idlers or machine frame
members.
ABATEMENT NOTE:
Among others, a feasible method to eliminate or
materially recuce this hazard is to comply with ASME/ANSI
B20.1-1990, section 6.1.2 and provide permanently
installed pull cords or similar stop controllers at
points where employees are normally
