(a)Throughout the main plant building:  Compressed air was piped
throughout the
building in 3/4" PVC pipe system that was not enclosed in a conduit or
casing of
sufficient strength to provide protection from external damage and
deterioration.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to replace the PVC pipe with a steel pipe system designed for compressed
air utilization.
