SECTION 5(A)(1) OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT OF 1970: THE EMPLOYER DID NOT FURNISH EMPLOYMENT AND A PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT WHICH WERE FREE FROM RECOGNIZED HAZARDS THAT WERE CAUSING OR LIKELY TO CAUSE DEATH OR SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM TO EMPLOYEE'S IN THAT EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED TO A FALL HAZARD OF 10-12 FEET AND/OR CRUSHING INJURIES: A) LOTS 11 AND 12, BLOCK 154, TWIN FALLS, IDAHO - EMPLOYEE WORKING IN BUCKET OF FRONT AND LOADER (580D-CASE) TO CUT AWAY AWNING, EXPOSING EMPLOYEE TO FALL HAZARDS AND CRUSHING HAZARDS. AMONG OTHER METHODS ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS; USE A ROUGH TERRAIN SELF-PROPELLED AERIAL WORK PLATFORM OR A VEHICLE-MOUNTED ELEVATING AND ROTATING WORK PLATFORM.
