Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a 60 foot fall hazard at: (a) New Enterprise Lime and Stone Company, Ebensburg, PA 15931; Where employees were working from a three tier scaffold not designed to be used as a working platform held aloft by a crane. One feasible means of abatement would be to design a working platform suitable to be lifted by a crane and/or follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
