employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing
or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in
that employees were exposed to the hazard of severe burns from hot
oil. This exposure results from practice of draining hot oil from
the fryolator through a sieve into an open pot, and having employees
lift the pot and pour the hot oil back into the fryolator.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to employ a closed pump and filtering system.
