Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: A) Employees were exposed to crushing hazards between the frame and the bed of the GMC dump truck, S.N. 352SP56710D, G.V.W. 16000 pounds. One feasible method of abatement is to require positive stops to be used prior to going under the bed and to train employees on the potential hazards of their work.
