General-duty citation text

Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to:
(a)  Plating Room;  The homemade dryer/heater which is powered
by natural gas presents a fire/explosion hazard because it does
not have a gas regulation.  Additionally, the gas is transmitted
through unapproved hose which was not intended for gas service.
This dryer has no flu to vent to a safe location the carbon
monoxide which is created during combustion.
