Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were
free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees,in that,employees were exposed
to possible serious injury from working conditions and recognized hazards
while performing  structural steel erection and other similar installation
and the regulations applicable to this type of work environment.   Among
other methods;  One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard is to install and weld all erection clips at the base of the
columns prior to releasing them from the crane, providing guy wires on
all erected columns and following completely the erection procedures
stipulated by the structural steel fabrication.
