Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: %% a)Warehouse-Mezzanine Conveyor Belt System No stop buttons or stop cords were provided for each individual conveyor belt in order to stop conveyors to clear jams on or about 3/8/95. Among other methods,one feasible and acceptable method to correct is to install stop controls to be in compliance with ASME B20.1a-1990 Safety Standard For Conveyors And Related Equipment.
