Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were
free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to:
a) POD B - sixth floor;
Employees exposed to the hazard of being caught in machine, were
using Rigid - 300 Electric Pipe Threader, SN 76012000, which was not
provided with a constant pressure foot treadle control switch as
required by American National Standards Institure B208.1-1982,
Section 4 which is one feasible acceptable method of abatement.
