Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
(a)  Jobsite;  Two employees were repositioning the "JLG" #1850 self
propelled
work platform through scrap debris, concrete and concrete block, while the
platform was extended to approximately 14 ft. above ground.  This
condition
exposed workers to a 14 ft. fall hazard.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
(1)  to follow the instructions and "Caution" placards posted by the
manufacturer,
(2)  follow methods as outlined as per ANSI A92.6 "Self propelled work
platform standard".
