likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that
employees
were exposed to an injury
from an unintended activation of a foot pedal not protected by a guard:
(a)Hefco Area, Sheet Metal Shop  The foot treadle on the fifty five (55)
ton Niagara press
brake was not guarded to prevent accidental activation.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO GUARD THE FOOT TREADLE.
