Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to being struck by or crushed by a vehicle:
a)  Front Garage Area Center Lift:  Employees operating the
hydraulic lift had to be underneath the vehicle, on or about
4/6/93.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement
to correct this hazard, is to comply with Section 4.1.3 of ANSI
Standard B153.1-1990, by moving the controls from the floor to a wall,
away from underneath the car.
