contacting,
and being caught by, unstoppable rotating machine parts of a cord and plug
connected Rigid model 300 pipe threading machine (s/n 7605595) which was
not
equipped with a momentary contact device for controlling the machine
motor.

ABATEMENT NOTE
Among others, a feasible method to eliminate or to materially reduce this
hazard
is to comply with ANSI B208.1-1982, section 4.4 and provide a momentary
contact device to control power input to the machine.
