Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to replace all P.V.C. Pipe installed in above ground locations and used
for compressed air
transportation, with black iron pipe.  Another abatement method is to
shield the pipe with a
shatter resistant material.
