Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970; The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was     f
from recognized hazards which were likely to cause death or serious         p
harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards of 10 feet
while walking on a roof with no fall protection.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to        c
this hazardous condition would be to equip employees with safety belts and
lanyards to prevent possible falls.
