Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees loading
parcels and packages on to trailers using a roller conveyor system were
exposed to the hazard of a falling overhead door that was propped open
with two 2 X 4s as the torsion spring on one of the doors was broken.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the
hazard is to have the defective part (broken spring) repaired or
replaced to bring the door into compliance with the requirements and
specifications established by American National Standard Institute and
National Association of Garage Door Manufacturers for Sectional Over-
Head Type Doors, "ANSI/NAGDM 102-1988" Section 9.3
