Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to fire and smoke:
a)  The Bombay Company  Employee(s) did not receive training on how to
evacuate or escape
from the store in a fire or other emergency, nor were employee(s)
afforded an opportunity to
participate in fire drills.  Among other methods, one feasible method to
eliminate or materially
reduce this hazard is to regularly train employees in fire exit drill
procedures in general
conformance with Section 311.5 of NFPA 101, 1988 Life Safety
