or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to
fracture and contusion hazards from an air hose seperation:
a) Number Three Casthouse Floor - The air hose on the pneumatic tool
did not have a safety clip or chain and if the hose separates the
employee could be knocked into a trough of molten metal, September

Among others, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard is pneumatic power tools should be secured to hoses and
safey clips or retainers installed on tools to prevent attachments
from being accidentally expelled.
