Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On September 12, 1990, at the 200 Block of S.W. 6 Street, an employee was exposed to the hazard of being crushed by the Ford B-24, Front End Loader while riding in the bucket at the jobsite. Among other methods, on feasible and acceptable method to correct this is to prohibit employees from riding in the buckets of the front end loader.
