Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to cuts, amputations, and crushing hazards while working near
a moving conveyor
belt:
a) On or about May 18, 2010 and at times prior Bartlett Grain Company,
L.P. (Walsh

conveyor.
2. Contacting the edge of the conveyor belt causing cuts and abrasions.
3. Falling onto the conveyor belt and being thrown into the walls or onto
the
floor.

B20.1. 1996, Safety
Standard for Conveyor and Related Equipment.
Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see
