work zone safety.
Among other methods, recognized and feasible means of abatement to correct
this hazard
is to:
1.Ensure that employees who direct traffic are provided with a traffic
vest and
provided with training that enables them to recognize and control hazards
associated with vehicles; and,
2.Comply with the applicable elements required by the Manual on Uniform
Traffic
Control Devices (Millennium Edition), June 2001 when perform work that
affects
highway and street traffic.
