Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and crushing injuries: Worksite - Workers were injured while attempting to raise a 38 foot long wall that was 15 feet high. The wall was being raised by hand when the wall fell over backwards on top of the workers, injuring three workers. Among other, one feasible means of abatement would have been to use wall jacks to erect the wall.
