The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) At the Worksite - Employees were exposed to the hazard of being burned with hot frying oil; On or about 3/7/96. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method is to: 1.Drain the shortening/oil into the approved metal container with a lockable lid; place the lid on the container and lock it; or use a shortening transport device.rt
