Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to severe burns injuries from the potential dust explosion hazard that could have resulted from, or been exacerbated by the accumulation of fugitive aluminum dust: (a)Aluminum Storage Area - The entire area of the aluminum storage room was covered in aluminum flake and aluminum dust. The dust was located on the walls, pallets, metal containers and floor area on or about April 17, 2002. (b)Metal Collection Area - Fugitive aluminum dust was located on electrical breakers, disconnect switches, pipes, conduit and walls of the room on or about April 17, 2002. "AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO CLEAN UP THE ALUMINUM DUST IN THE ALUMINUM STORAGE ROOM" VERIFICATION REQUIRED

"AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO MOVE THE CONTAINER FOR THE FIXED VACUUM SYSTEM OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING." VERIFICATION REQUIRED
