Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment or a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Employees were exposed to protruding conduit onto and/or into which employees fall or come against, was not guarded to the hazard of impalement. Among feasible means of abatement would be to remove conduit or cover with steel plated caps, a 2x4 wood trough, or bending it over. Grade level. Employees exposed to impalement hazards of unprotected conduit protruding out of the ground. "NO DOCUMENTATION OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM"
