Section 5(a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment or a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards of fire and explosion: North Mixing Building: Employee(s) were required to use flammable liquids such as, but not limited, toluene and xylene to clean floor. Among other methods, one feasible and accepted abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide the employee(s) with cleaning liquids that are not flammable or combustible. CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
