employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which
were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause
death or serious physical harm to employees due to exposure to fire
and smoke:

not receive training on how to evacuate or escape from
the store in a fire or other emergency nor were the
employees afforded an opportunity to participate in
fire drills; on or about 5/12/91.
ABATEMENT NOTES:
Among other methods, one feasible method to eliminate or to materially
reduce this hazard is to enforce the pre-existing McCrory Corporation
Plan contained in the McCrory Operations Manual.
