(a) The following rooms used for AFB isolation were under positive %% pressure: Spellman room 657, West room 403, Spellman room 250, Spellman room 251, and 2C room 203. Feasible and useful abatement methods for reducing this hazard as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control are: AFB isolation rooms for persons with suspected or confirmed infections TB and areas in which high hazard procedures are performed on such individuals must be maintained under negative pressure and appropriately exhausted.
