Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: MEZZANINE FLOOR/PROJECTION BOOTH CORRIDOR: LONG LENGTHS OF WIRE ROPE GUARD RAIL SYSTEMS WERE SUPPORTED BY ONLY ONE WIRE ROPE CLIP. IF THE WIRE ROPE CLIP FAILED LARGE SECTIONS OF THE GUARDRAIL SYSTEM WOULD FALL, EXPOSING EMPLOYEES TO FALL HAZARDS. ABATEMENT NOTE: AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD WOULD BE TO (a) MAKE THE LENGTHS OF WIRE ROPE GUARD RAILS SHORTER, (b) USE MORE THAN ONE WIRE ROPE CLIP ON EACH LENGTH OF GUARD RAIL TO STRENGTHEN IT'S SUPPORT. SPECIFIC ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIREDATION
