from unintended actuation of a foot pedal/treadle, not provided with a
guard.
(a)Pressing Department - Employee was observed operating a North Hampton
Pinking
machine, Model N.P., Serial #287 with no means provided to protect the
foot pedal from
unintended activation by someone accidently stepping on it.
"AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTED ABATEMENT METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO INSTALL A FOOT PEDAL/TREADLE GUARD."
