employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees were exposed to an injury from an
unintended actuation of a foot pedal not protected by a guard:
(a)Building  #2, Fabrication Building - An employee
operated a Wysong mechanical press brake, serial number
PB56 - 327, model number 90 - 10, to bend parts. No
means was provided to protect the foot pedal from an
unintended actuation by a falling or moving objects or
by someone accidentally stepping on it.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT
METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO GUARD THE FOOT PEDAL.
