Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: crushing hazards from the home made forty foot spreader bar that was used to lift fifty-two feet in length wooden wall panels: (a)Wall Area - A homemade forty foot long spreader bar was used to lift fifty- two foot long wall panels and the spreader bar was not labeled for its rated capacity, on or about June 10, 2004. "AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO RATE THE SPREADER BAR AND LABEL THE CAPACITY ON IT" VERIFICATION REQUIREDTION
