29 CFR 1926.550(a)(19): Employee's were not kepy clear of crane suspended loads. (a) on or about 03/01/96 at the Carraway Cancer Research center construction jobsite, employee's were allowed work and travel under the tower crane suspended loads. IN THE ALTERNATIVE Section 5 (a)(1) of the Occupational Safety And Act: The employer did not furnish employement and a place of employment which were causing or likley to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: The hazard of falling material where employees were allowed to work and travel under tower crane suspended loads. (a) among feasible and acceptable methods to correct this hazard would be to relocated the material loading platform (pokeout), provide barriers and/or post an employee at the main building entrance and exits to alert workers to use an alternative route when loads are being suspended overhead.
