Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer
did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to:
Employees were exposed to the recognized hazards associated with falls
from elevations.
Employees were working from the elevated forks of a fork truck at heights
of
approximately 7 1/2 to 8 feet without the benefit of a proper safety
platform.
Among other methods, two feasible and acceptable abatement methods to
correct this
hazard are as follows:
1.The use of a proper safety platform on the fork truck.
2.The use of a mobile ladder stand.
