5(a)(1) a.Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards ranging in height from approximately 8 feet to 65 feet as they were engaged in literally walking an air dome down to speed up the process of deflation when the force of the wind caused wave like conditions on the air entrapped under the woven polyethylene covering of the air dome. "AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO LET THE AIR DOME DEFLATE ON ITS OWN AND TO PROHIBIT EMPLOYEES FROM WALKING THE AIR DOME DOWN."
