Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) 700 South Blvd., Oak Park, Il: On or about January 12, 2000, an employee was working from a platform supported by a rough terrain forklift truck was exposed to injuries from falls due to improper elevating of personnel. The proper method is required by the American National Standard Institute's standard for rough terrain forklift trucks. (ANSI B56.6-1992). No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
