manuafcturer. ASME/ANSI B56.1-1993, Safety Standard for Low Lift and high
Lift Trucks,
requires manufacturers to provide, and operators to wear seat belts
(operator restraint systems).
Tow Motor Operators working in the Sterling Underbody Assembly part of the
plant were
driving forklifts (i.e. Yale #46, serial #E177B16633U) without using the
seat belts provided by
the manufacturer.
