were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazard of explosion or fire:
Flammable storage building --- Electrical sources of ignition were located
inside the
storage building.
a)East wall of the building --- Standard electrical conduit and duplex
receptacle were used to power two scales.
b)Near East wall of the building --- Two scales used for weighing paint
were not the type for use in a Class I Division II area.
c)Ceiling near the Northwest corner of the building --- Explosion proof
cover had been removed from a light bulb.
Among other feasible methods of abatement are the replacement of the bulb
cover,
removal of the standard electrical wiring and scales, or replacing the
wiring and scales
with wiring and scales approved for Class I Division II area.  As a
guideline the
employer should reference 29 CFR 1910.106(d)(4).
