Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazard(s) of being thrown out of industrial trucks:
a)Worksite, AT & N Lumber Service - Employee(s) operating the "TCM"
industrial truck,
Model 700, Serial # A34G10500, did not use the seat belt to prevent being
accidentally thrown
out, on or about 11/20/96.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is to ensure that employee(s) utilize seat belts while operating
industrial trucks.ial
